BK Channel Antibody

The BK Channel Antibody from Abbiotec is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to KCNMA1, Slo1, KCa1.1, mSLO1, SLO-ALPHA, bA205K10.1, SAKCA, SLO, BKTM, MaxiK, potassium large conductance calcium-activated channel, subfamily M, alpha member 1, BK Channel. This antibody recognizes Porcine, Non-Human Primate, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Human antigen. The BK Channel Antibody has been validated for the following applications: Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA. The BK channel (calcium-activated potassium channel subunit alpha-1 or KCNMA1) is a potassium channel activated by both membrane depolarization or increase in cytosolic Ca(2+) that mediates export of K(+). BK channel is also activated by the concentration of cytosolic Mg(2+). BK channel has a key role in controlling excitability in a numerous systems, such as smooth muscle contraction, tuning of hair cells in the cochlea, regulation of transmitter release, and innate immunity. Defects in KCNMA1 are the cause of generalized epilepsy and paroxysmal dyskinesia (GEPD)
