Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Antibody

The Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Antibody from Abbiotec is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to serpin peptidase inhibitor, clade A (alpha-1 antiproteinase, antitrypsin), member 1, A1A, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin, AAT, A1AT, PRO2275, SERPINA1, PI1, alpha1AT, PI. This antibody recognizes Mouse, Rat, Canine, Bovine, Sheep, Rabbit, Porcine, Human antigen. The Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Antibody has been validated for the following applications: Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA. AAT (Alpha-1-antitrypsin) is an inhibitor of serine proteases. Although AAT's primary target is elastase, the enzyme has also a moderate affinity for plasmin and thrombin. AAT inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin and plasminogen activator. The aberrant form inhibits insulin-induced NO synthesis in platelets, decreases coagulation time and has proteolytic activity against insulin and plasmin. AAT deficiency is related to emphysema and liver disease
