Protein C (3C7) Antibody

Abbiotec's Protein C (3C7) Antibody is a Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 3C7). The Protein C (3C7) Antibody was generated using THPH3, Proc, THPH4, APC, PROC1, protein C (inactivator of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa), PC, Protein C as the antigen and it reacts with Human. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: ELISA, Western Blot. Protein C is a vitamin K-dependent serine protease that is produced in the liver and made up of 2 polypeptide chains. The 62 kDa proenzyme is activated by thrombin bound to an endothelial surface receptor and the active enzyme cleaves factor Va and VIIIa inhibitng blood coagulation. The molecular weight of the active enzyme is 55kDa and the normal concentration in human plasma is approximately 1-3 ng/ml while the concentration of the proenzyme is approximately 3 µg/ml due to the very fast turnover. This antibody reacts with human protein C
